Alexis Nguyen’s journey into filmmaking began at her high school, where she learned about film production and theory. During this time, she discovered her love for storytelling and its ability to transcend cultural barriers. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Video from the University of Texas at Arlington in December 2019.
Alexis specializes in Production Management and Assistant Directing, but she also has experience in other roles--such as, editing. Two of the short films she produced and directed, Diary of a Burnout (2016) and Ocean Waves (2017), won the student shorts competition at the Asian Film Festival of Dallas.
